A unique studio apartment in the heart of Vernazza, Antica Roccia Apartment is built into the hillside with the dramatic rock face as part of the décor. The first-floor apartment sleeps 2 people and is the ideal base for a couple who want to explore the Cinque Terre, relax on the beach or hike through unspoiled countryside.
In the traditional building, tucked away in a winding lane in the centre of the town, the open-plan apartment is furnished with a combination of antique and contemporary pieces. In the seating area, there is a corner sofa with a flat-screen TV. Next to this is the dining table with benches. Opposite is the kitchen, which is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and a fridge.
Sleeping
The stunning sleeping area is separated from the living room by a half-wall. It is furnished with a double bed and a chest of drawers. There is a wardrobe in the sitting room for storage.
Bathroom
The attractive tiled bathroom has a glass shower, basin, bidet, WC and washing machine.

Location
This charming port is known as one of the prettiest towns in Italy. The studio is close to the harbour and most of Vernazza’s restaurants and bars. The Cinque Terre region has attracted visitors for over a century, and with good reason. Visitors can enjoy spectacular hiking along the Sentiero Azzuro, which connects the five towns along the coast. There is also a regular ferry service from Porto di Vernazza (3-minute walk) and a train service that links the towns. Vernazza railway station is only a 2-minute walk from the apartment.
For something more relaxing, the town’s beach is a 2-minute walk from the apartment. It is one of the only sandy beaches in Cinque Terre and is ideal for snorkelling, paddle-boarding and kayaking to explore the neighbouring coves.
The town’s weekly farmers market is held on Tuesday morning. Here you can find the best local produce. For daily needs there is a supermarket in the town (1 minute) and smaller speciality shops for fish, wine and charcuterie.
Pisa’s International Airport is 1 hour and 35 minutes and Genova’s International Airport is a 1 hour, 45-minute drive from the apartment.
