Our house is located in the south-east of Sicily, in the countryside, near Rosolini, between the provinces of Siracusa and Ragusa. And 'strategic point to visit the UNESCO heritage city of great artistic, architectural and natural. It is located 18 km from Modica, famous for its baroque churches and the typical chocolate; 35 km from Ragusa and Scicli rich in Baroque monuments. A few minutes you will be in the charming town of Noto, capital of Baroque; 40 'minutes you will be at Syracuse, Dionysius and the ancient city of Archimedes, with the greek theater, headquarters every two years of classical performances and the island of Ortigia, the oldest part of the city. A few minutes you reach the Ionian Sea (Marzamemi, Eloro and Vendicari) or the Mediterranean Sea with beautiful beaches and golden sand dunes. The block was built by kind of typical Sicilian rural stone house surrounded by stone walls and century-old olive trees and carob. The natural garden and the fruits of our garden will delight our guests' stay. The structure is eco-friendly: thermoventilated and insulated roofs with cork, electric photovoltaic, solar panels and biomass boiler for heating and hot water.
The apartment we offer, located on the first floor, is "La Mansarda": Kitchen, 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with two 1 ½ square beds that can be transformed into a King size bed, a bathroom and a private terrace equipped with table and chairs. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating, accompanied by bed linen and towels included.
