Summary: Very well located for the train station & buses into Montreux . The Riviera tourist travel card given at reception was a bonus to enable us to travel around for free up until the early hours . The hotel itself is nice, clean & comfortable. The roof top bar wasn’t open but we made use of the spa facilities instead . No kettle in the room though which would’ve been appreciated but there’s a Starbucks opposite so that solved that . Veyvey itself has a good vibe with a variety of shops & places to eat . The lake is a short walk from the hotel which has breathtaking views & a buzzy ambience during market day with people generally enjoying themselves . We particularly found the improvised beach with deck chairs charming& the little sandwich bar with its pier seating adorable . A lovely place to visit for sure.
