From the house there are several paths for excursions towards the mountain and in 4 km the funicular starts towards Brunate, from where several paths branch off, the most famous being the ?camminata delle baite? with a splendid view of the lake. The proximity of the lake offers you the possibility to practice water sports: Windsurfing, kitesurfing, canoeing, diving or rent a boat. By boat you can explore the surroundings of Como and visit the beautiful villages, villas and promenades along the coast. Enjoy sunbathing on one of the many equipped beaches: Villa Olmo, Cernobbio, Moltrasio, Argegno, Bellagio, Careno, Lezzano. The walks along the lake are spectacular: the Greenway is a beautiful 10 km long route that winds along the middle of the lake, with the possibility of returning by boat or bus. Enjoy the walk in Spina Verde from Camerlata to San Fermo with a visit to Baradello Castle, particularly popular with children. At 7 km, the small lake of Montorfano offers an unspoiled landscape. If you love history and culture, from Como, also by train, you can quickly reach Milan (50 km), Bergamo (50 km), Varese (50 km) and Lugano (36 km).
