This lovely flat with terrace is located only 500 m from the Sarnen-Nord train station and the centre. Here you will find shopping facilities, restaurants and bars. By car you can drive to the lake in a few minutes, where there is a large playground and the Lido-Seefeld swimming pool. Countless excursions can be made from Sarnen: Pilatus, Rigi, Titlis (glacier), Ballenberg, Melchsee-Frutt, Interlaken, Lake Lucerne (including steamships). Location description: Sarnen - in the heart of Switzerland - is the tranquil capital of the canton of Obwalden. The population is around 10,500 (2021).The weekly market is held on the village square every Saturday from May to October. The canton is dominated by agriculture, but prominent companies such as maxon motor, bio-familia AG, Leister Technologies AG are also located here. The largest employer is the cantonal hospital.
