"La Quercia" is a luxurious, detached 4-room detached house with 120 m² of living space spread over two floors. The house is located in Vico Morcote, about 10 km from Lugano, and offers a magnificent panoramic view of the lake, the mountains and the surrounding countryside.
Location: The house, built in 1960 and renovated in 2005 and 2024, is situated outside the village in a quiet, sunny hillside location in the villa district, about 600 metres from the lake. Shops and restaurants are just a few kilometres away. The area offers numerous leisure activities such as a golf course, tennis courts, hiking areas and sights such as Swiss Miniature and the Piazza Grande in Morcote.
Upper floor: The spacious and bright upper floor was refurnished in 2024 and comprises an open-plan, large living/dining room with panoramic windows, open fireplace, dining table for six people, cable TV with international channels and flat screen. From here there is direct access to the garden and terrace. The modern kitchen, which was fitted in 2021, is equipped with a combi-steamer, oven, dishwasher, induction hob, toaster, kettle, airfryer and a Nespresso coffee machine (you will need to bring your own capsules). There is also access to the terrace from the kitchen. A separate guest WC completes the offer on the upper floor.
Lower floor: The lower floor offers a 25 m² double room with a double bed (160 cm x 200 cm), shower/WC-Closomat and double washbasin as well as an exit to the terrace. A children's room is equipped with a bunk bed (80 cm x 200 cm). A further double room measuring 20 m² also has a double bed (160 cm x 200 cm). There is also a separate bathroom/WC with double washbasin.
Outdoor area: The house has a large terrace with patio furniture, parasol, a seating area for six people, outdoor shower and barbecue. The terraced plot (500 m²) is surrounded by palm trees and offers an idyllic retreat. There is a 250v socket in the car park but no wallbox.
Please note that a new detached house is being built on the neighbouring plot - completion of the interior work around summer 2025.
Excursion possibilities: Swiss Miniature 3km, Morcote, Piazza Grande 3km, Lugano 10 km. Well-known lakes in the surrounding area are within easy reach: Lago di Como, Cernobbio 28km, Lago Maggiore, Locarno 50km. Hiking areas: Parco San Grato, Carona 7km, Monte Tamaro 32km, San Salvatore, Lugano 10km.
