Summary: The hotel is situated in a tranquil location, through a covered archway and away from the bustling streets of Portici. Here you have the most amazing view of the gulf of Naples. The hotel is stylish and modern with beautiful furnishings in the rooms and public areas. The staff are all friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are quiet and well appointed with a good rain shower and comfortable bed. There is plenty of storage and wardrobe space as well. Wi Fi in the hotel is complimentary and generally good. The restaurant is full a la carte and there is also a sushi tasting menu. The bar offers a good selection of snacks and small plates. All the choices are good sized portions. Breakfast is served 07:00-10:30, offering a buffet style selection including hot and cold food. The only negative is that there is nothing close by; no restaurants or bars within walking distance of the hotel, so you are very limited on choice. Having said that we ate in the hotel and the food was top quality, well presented and good value. A nice touch was the shuttle they offer to and from Herculaneum. We also used this for our airport transfer. Regarding other sightseeing, they offer excursions through a local company that collect and return you directly to the hotel. There is also a train station ten minutes walk away, with trains running every 30 minutes to Napoli Centrale and beyond. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.
