Positive: Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful.The food was delicious. The room was exceptionally clean and modern.

Negative: The location...is great if you have a car, not good if you don't. The hotel is up in the hills. Buses to the centre are not often and not available later in the evening. We took a taxi a few times and the price was absolutely ridiculous! Once, when our hotel was closed for evening meals, we ate at a neighbouring restaurant, a 5 minute drive away; the hotel staff were so kind and gave us a ride to the restaurant. Going back to our hotel then cost us €43 for a 5 minute journey! ( It was too far and all uphill to walk back) The taxi driver told us that there are no taxi hubs in that vicinity, therefore, we also had to pay for him to get to us! He did warn us it would be expensive but we estimated surely no more than €20, how wrong we were. The staff at the hotel took us to the village centre in their mini bus a few times, insistent on no charge, which was exceptional of them. This hotel is good value compared to the central hotels but if you don't have a car you will pay for the transport costs and inconvenience of no evening transport.
