Original 9th century arrow slit windows and meter thick stone walls. Unique features: original glass ovens built by the Venetian glass masters in 1292 in the living and dining room. Two very big king bedrooms, two baths ensuite, sleeps 4+2 on sofa. One bedroom is in base of the 9th century tower! King beds become twins. Original medieval spiral staircase up to the floor above; can be joined with il Nido to sleep additional 2. 9th century barrel vault stone ceilings and plaster walls of 'velatura' peach. Accents of green and peach. Kitchen has utensils, cutlery, dining china and glassware. It has the coolest summer temperatures with thick walls.
