Just 200 meters from the house you can get on the free ski bus which will take you to the ski lift in a few minutes. You can ski back almost to the front door. In the immediate vicinity you can also enjoy hiking, tobogganing, cross-country skiing or shopping in nearby Zell am See or Kaprun. A lift will go directly from Viehhofen to the ski area of Zell am See. As a result, Viehhofen is connected to the Zell am See ski area by a lift on the one hand, and connected to Saalbach-Hinterglemm on the other hand via a descent from the ski area (the lifts of the Saalbach Hinterglemm ski area are easily reached with the free ski bus). Ski buses are expected to go to both ski areas.
