3 Bedroom Villa in Menaggio
The villa Elena is a modern house located in a very quiet area 5 minutes up the hill driving from beautiful Menaggio town on lake Como. The place offers a magnificent view, tranquillity, large terrace, nice garden with outdoor facilities and hot tub. This house is full of light and sunshine due to large panoramic windows facing the lake in kitchen, living room and all the bedrooms.
Space:
The open planning (the hall, kitchen, dining room and living room are united) gives the nice impression of space and freedom.
Kitchen and dining room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern equipment necessary for cookign and eating in. Broad working space, large fridge and freezer, plenty of room to store the products, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. There are all the dishes too cook and to eat, as well as the glasses and silverware. The wooden table is perfect for 4 or 6 people. The dining room has large panoramic windows facing the lake. Simply beautiful.
Living room.
Large living room with very comfy large couch, satellite TV and fireplace is connected with the balcony (terrace) and has large panoramic windows. Living room has the direct exit to the terrace and hot tub patio.
Terrace.
Divided into front and back area. The front terrace i and eating outside on a hot italian afternoons. It has dining table with the regular chairs, a couch, arm-chairs, fancy rocking chair and a tea-table. Of course there is delicious lake view. Protection from the sun. Just a perfect combination to chill and enjoy the vacations.
The back terrace (hot tub patio) is exposed for sun and is perfect for taking sunbath and relaxing in the jakuzzi. 4 sunbeds are available for the use of our guests.
Bedrooms
The master bedroom is very light due to the large panoramic windows facing the lake and the mountains which however can be completely shield if desired. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with large sink, bidet and spa-quality shower. It is also equipped with the dressing-room.
Bathrooms.
There is a small (service) bathroom with the toilet and the sink on the first floor. Another bathroom is located on the second floor, has toilet, bidet, sink and a bathtub (of course with the shower available) and serves 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own spa-quality bathroom with large sink, toilet, bidet and a shower.
Outside.
The house is hidden behind the mid-century church, so it's not even visible from the road. In front of the house there is a paved surface which can be used as another parking space. There is a small net protected trampoline for the kids. The backyard is equipped with the hot tub (jakuzzi) which is, however, is switched off for the late fall, winter and early spring.
Parking.
There is a spacious garage for one car and there is also possibility to park in front of the house on protected private territory.
Other facilities.
In the laundry room (accessed from the garage) there is a washing machine, but we do not have the dryer. But on the hot summer days it is easy enough to dry the clothing outside on the hanger.
Hot tub.
We have the hot tub for the use of our guests. We kindly ask to low the temperature when not in use. Please note that it is a summer project and is out of service from October till mid April. We can start it a bit earlier and turn off a bit later in request if will be possible to comply with the calendar of current bookings.
A/C
Please note, that only one bedroom is equipped with the a/c. And other rooms have the fans. it is not my personal choice, but the decision of the investors. I find it comfortable staying in the house without a/c and do not have one in my own place. However I understand that for some people it is very important. So please, be aware.
