Summary: We decided we wanted to stay an extra day in Lucca and the host were very kind in helping us extend. At first it looked like we would have to change rooms for the extra night based on availability, but they were able to arrange things to let us stay in the same room which was nice. Its about a 20minute walk from the city, but there is a nice walking/biking path you can take, and the local bus stops right outside the B&B.
