This isolated former farmhouse is located on a 100-hectare property. You will live in a green setting overlooking the valley in a mid-mountain region with a Mediterranean climate. A change of scenery and tranquility are guaranteed; you will be able to disconnect from everyday life. Our farmhouse will also delight lovers of peace and quiet, as you can set off on three different walks right from your front door. You will be 2 kilometers from the Spanish border, 43 km from Figueres, 35 km from Céret, 30 minutes from Prats de Mollo, and close to the Canigou massif. (The sea and its fine sandy beach are 60 km away). The Sainte-Marie church, in the small village of Coustouges (800 m), is a gem of Romanesque art that is a must-see. Ground floor: You will enter directly into the fully equipped kitchen, with access to the laundry room. 4 steps lead to the living room and bedrooms. The large living room has been designed to highlight the character of the building, with generous volumes and a fireplace. 2 bedrooms: master bedroom (1 queen-size bed), children's bedroom: 2 single beds (can be pushed together for a couple). Bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs, open mezzanine with an extra bed, which could potentially be used as a third bedroom. Enclosed, sunny terrace opposite the gîte entrance.
