Three cosy, individually furnished bedrooms, one room with double bed and large built-in wardrobe, one room with twin beds (90 x 200 cm each), wich can be turned into a double bed and one room with single bed (90 x 200 cm) with small workstation, invite you to dream.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with induction cooker, oven and refrigerator with freezer section, toaster, Raclette oven, egg cooker and three different coffee makers (Tchibo Cremissimo Coffe masching with tab, a frenchpress or a filter maschine with inbuilt coffee filter). At the cosy slate table in the light-flooded winter garden with a view of the countryside, you can enjoy a delicious dinner or a nice glass of wine.
On the top floor there is a spacious open-plan living room with a comfortable seating area, cable TV, Blueray player, DVD's, books and some board games, which is a great place to relax after a day's excursion, hiking, cycling or motorbiking. Is your book finished but your vacation still goes on? Our small exchange library containing German and English books might offer the solution. Just leave your old book in exchange of a new one, which of course can be then taken home.
The flat is accessible via an outside staircase and separate entrance. Car, bicycles or motorbikes can be parked on the private premisis in front of the house.
Families with kids enjoy ample fun in the surrondings. Whether you want to sledge or ski - if the snow permits, visit the chocolate world of Maestrani or the magic museum in Degersheim- it's certainly not boring in our corner of the world. In Summer the playground by the school or the little creek next to the house fun, entertainment and also the opportunity to cool down.

Location description: Dicken is a small twon that had blossomed, when the textila industry, namely the machine embroidery had its high times. The small village is nestled between the Wilkethöchi, Züblisnase and Chäseren hills. Various hikes from easy to medium difficulty start right outside the front door. The village is often above the fog line, making it the ideal starting point for beautiful excursions on foot, by bicycle or motorbike.
Although a bus serves the village from Flawil, Degersheim and St. Peterzell, it is necessary to come by car or alternative mode of transport as to easily and comfortably go shopping or eating out or to explore the surroundings.
