Positive: We have spent a few wonderful days here on the southern Adriatic coast of Apulia. Matteo and Rocchette, the owners of the apartment, were exceptionally kind and charming – and welcomed us with a bottle of local wine. The couple themselves live in this apartment during the winter months, and accordingly, everything is fully equipped for living, cooking, and everyday comfort. They were so thoughtful and provided us with beach chairs, a sun umbrella, a coffee machine, and even a local parking permit. To enjoy the sunrise over the sea at breakfast, we were allowed to use their terrace on the first floor (which is normally not rented out), accessible via an outdoor staircase. Matteo even drove us around the nearby area in his car, showing us where to find good swimming spots and restaurants.

Negative: Even though the sandy beaches are more to the north, there are beautiful places here where you can step straight into the clear waters of the Adriatic Sea from gently rocky bathing spots.
